COFFEE AND
TREATS
All the places you see are the ones I have come to love. And of the many things I love... the color orange, finding a perfectly good Starburst® under the front seat (don't judge!), or a sunny Palm Springs day …a good cup of coffee or a finely made treat ranks very close to the top.
Ernest Coffee 1101 N. Palm Canyon
After moving to Palm Springs in 2019, my "things to do" list required finding a coffee oasis where I could sit and ponder over a perfect brew. Look no further. This little clatch has brilliant baristas that know their stuff and can froth, and whirr, and pour you a cup, to keep you coming back for more. Hang out with the local intellectuals or take your coffee for a stroll around Old Las Palmas for Clementine does not steer you wrong when it comes to a good cup of joe.
Koffi 515 N. Palm Canyon
I told you I love coffee. Well, Koffi is my other hangout. I mean I do love a good brew. With three locations in town, you are not more than a mile from one of these caffeine-havens. I love, love, love the North Palm Canyon location due to a wonderful little park out the back door. Sit and sip and watch the doggies, the hummingbirds, or for that matter, the leaves on the trees. The place is like a dream and a perfect spot to figure out how you can live here permanently.
Penninsula Bakery 611 S. Palm Canyon
You will think you are on the Rue de Rivoli when you scan this little bakery's selections. Open the door and you will smell the fresh-baked goodness. Bite into a kouign amann and well... be at a loss for words. Whatever you try, you will know that this bakery lacks fakery. It is fully French and we should all be thankful for it. Merci Penninsula!
